CONTEXT

Base Club is a membership-based networking platform connecting people across cities through intentional shared experiences. By the time they brought me in, the product was developed and the community was growing. The problem wasn't what they were building. It was how they were talking about it.

The brand communication was unclear, the visual and editorial voice was inconsistent across cities, and there was no system for capturing or distributing content at scale. They were preparing for a Series B raise and needed to present a platform that looked and felt as credible as what they were actually building.

THE INSIGHT

A brand operating in multiple cities with different managers, creators, and members isn't a single brand problem. It's a systems problem.

The content couldn't improve until the infrastructure existed to produce it consistently. That meant building from the inside out: a clear north star for what Base content should feel like, defined roles for everyone producing it, and feedback loops that made the whole system self-improving over time.

The north star: every piece of content should tell a story of belonging, authentic, human, and rooted in community.

THE WORK

This engagement was developed in collaboration with Base Club's Growth Department. I was brought in to build the content infrastructure from the ground up and manage the day-to-day execution across all organic channels.

The work covered six content types, each with a defined purpose within the overall system. Evergreen content, including quote graphics, values-based carousels, and archetype posts, kept the brand voice consistent between events. Event recaps documented the energy of Base gatherings across cities, from the annual Alchemy event in Miami to the Austin initiation night to curated experiences like the Affordable Art Fair VIP activation. Member highlights put real faces and stories at the center of the brand, humanizing a platform built on human connection.

City manager content

City manager content gave local teams a production framework to capture authentic moments from the ground level, with shot lists, submission guidelines, and a feedback loop to maintain visual consistency across markets. Brand and product explainers communicated what Base actually does in language that was warm and specific rather than corporate.

PAID ADS

Paid content extended the strongest organic assets into targeted campaigns, with a boosting eligibility system that ensured only high-performing content received amplification.

Across all of it, the north star stayed the same: every piece of content should tell a story of belonging, authentic, human, and rooted in community.
